My YANFLAMMA Grill Cooking Journey: From Kebabs to Outdoor Adventures

I started cooking with my YANFLAMMA Grill simply because I wanted to see what I could make with it.

I wasn't trying to create perfect recipes or follow complicated instructions. I just wanted to cook, experiment, and enjoy the process.

And somehow, one recipe turned into another.

From chicken kebabs and turkey to buffalo wings, pig shots, and even my very first homemade pizza, the YANFLAMMA Grill has become more than just a grill for me. It has become part of the way I enjoy cooking.

Now, I'm ready for the next chapter: taking the YANFLAMMA Grill outdoors.

What I've Cooked So Far

Over the past few cooking sessions, I've tried quite a few different recipes on the YANFLAMMA Grill.

Crispy Chicken Kebabs

Crispy chicken kebabs were one of my early experiments.

There is something about putting bite-sized pieces of chicken on skewers, getting them over the charcoal, and watching them slowly develop that beautiful grilled color and crispy exterior.

Simple ingredients, hot charcoal, and a little patience can go a long way.

Next came lemon chicken kebabs.

The fresh lemon flavor worked beautifully with grilled chicken, and once those skewers hit the grill, the combination of citrus, seasoning, and charcoal became something completely different.

This is one of those recipes that reminds me that grilling doesn't always need a long list of ingredients.

Turkey Kebabs

I also gave turkey kebabs a try.

Turkey can be a little different from chicken when you're grilling, but cutting it into smaller pieces and cooking it on skewers made it easy to manage over the charcoal.

It was another reminder that the grill isn't limited to the usual BBQ favorites.

Buffalo Wings

Then came buffalo wings.

Chicken wings are always a fun one to grill because you get that combination of crispy skin, juicy meat, and smoky grilled flavor.

And honestly, wings just feel like they belong at a BBQ.

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Kebabs

If chicken kebabs are good, adding bacon makes them even more interesting.

For the bacon-wrapped chicken kebabs, I wrapped chicken pieces with bacon before putting them on the skewers.

As the bacon cooked, it released its flavor into the chicken while developing that delicious grilled texture.

Sometimes the simplest idea is the best one.

Pig Shots

Then I tried something completely different: pig shots.

Sausage, bacon, cream cheese, cheese, jalapeño, and BBQ seasoning — basically a combination that was difficult to resist.

I wrapped bacon around sausage pieces, filled them with the creamy cheese mixture, and cooked them over the grill.

This was definitely one of those recipes where you look at the finished result and think:

I probably should have made more.

Pizza

And then came something I never expected to make on my grill: pizza.

It was actually my first time making pizza from scratch.

I made the dough, kneaded it, let it rise, shaped it, added the toppings, and then cooked it with charcoal.

Was it a perfect pizza?

Probably not.

But that wasn't really the point.

It was the experience of making something I'd never made before and discovering that the YANFLAMMA Grill could be part of that experience too.

It's Not Really About the Recipe

Looking back at everything I've cooked so far, I think I've learned something.

Cooking isn't always about following a perfect recipe.

Sometimes it's about trying something you've never made before.

Sometimes it's about throwing a few ingredients together and seeing what happens.

Sometimes it's about standing beside the grill, watching the charcoal glow, smelling the food cooking, and enjoying the moment.

That's what I like about cooking with the YANFLAMMA Grill.

It gives me a reason to keep trying new things.

And I don't think I'm finished yet.

What's Next? Taking the YANFLAMMA Grill Outdoors

So far, most of my cooking has been about experimenting with different foods.

But now I want to change the setting.

I'm going outdoors.

The next plan is to take the YANFLAMMA Grill out into the wild — or maybe somewhere a little closer to home in the suburbs — and build a real outdoor cooking experience around it.

Imagine setting up a campsite, starting a bonfire or camping fire, getting the charcoal ready, and cooking dinner outdoors.

No kitchen.

No countertop.

Just fire, food, fresh air, and a grill.

That's the kind of cooking experience I want to try next.

Roast a Whole Chicken Over the Fire

One of my biggest plans is to roast a whole chicken with the YANFLAMMA Grill.

Instead of cooking individual pieces, I want to see what happens when I put a whole chicken on the grill and let the charcoal do the work.

Crispy skin.

Juicy meat.

Smoky charcoal flavor.

And hopefully, a beautiful golden-brown chicken at the end.

It sounds like a challenge — which is exactly why I want to try it.

Stir-Fried Chicken Outdoors?

And then there's another idea I'm curious about:

stir-fried chicken.

Stir-frying is usually something we associate with a kitchen stove, but I want to see if I can take that idea outdoors and cook it over the YANFLAMMA Grill.

High heat, a pan or wok, chicken, vegetables, sauce, and a little outdoor cooking chaos.

I'm not sure exactly how it's going to turn out yet.

But that's part of the fun.

More Than Just Grilling

That's where I want to take this cooking journey next.

I've already cooked kebabs, wings, pig shots, and pizza.

Now I want to see how far I can take the YANFLAMMA Grill.

Maybe a whole roasted chicken.

Maybe stir-fried chicken.

Maybe something I haven't even thought of yet.

And hopefully, I'll be able to take the grill somewhere beautiful, light a camping fire, cook a good meal, and enjoy it with friends.

Because at the end of the day, I don't think cooking is really about making the most complicated food.

It's about the experience.

It's about the smell of charcoal.

The sound of food sizzling.

The anticipation while you're waiting for dinner.

And that first bite after you've cooked everything yourself.

This is only the beginning of my YANFLAMMA Grill cooking journey.

The next stop?

The great outdoors.
